Surface Curve Visualizer

This visualizer shows a family of curves on a torus. Only one curve of the family is shown at a time. To see another curve move the mouse on the screen.

The curves are generated in the following way: you can image a torus as a piece of paper that has been rolled around into a cylinder and then bent such that the two ends of the cylinder match. The curves correspond to drawing a straight line on the original piece of paper.
